BIA letter to the Chancellor for Autumn Statement 2023

The BIA has written to the Chancellor to set out our recommendations for actions to support the life sciences sector ahead of the Autumn Statement 2023. 

In our submission, we called for:

• The restoration of the tax relief rate for R&D-intensive SMEs and clarity in the future regime
• A fellowship programme to train the next generation of life science investors
• Additional budget for British Patient Capital to support scaling life science companies
