MedCity Advanced Therapies Network (ATN)

The aim of the ATN is to support connections and collaborations between companies and academia working in advanced therapies.  Our first event on 13th February will focus on clinical trials with presentations from experts in this area.

 

Membership is open to all academic centres and industry - free of charge - in this field, and they will receive access to a series of events with high-profile speakers and networking opportunities.

 

We would be delighted to welcome anyone working on advanced therapies to the ATN (advancedtxnetwork.co.uk/) and to join us at this event on 13th February at the King’s College London. Please see the agenda for the day below.

6.00-6.15pm- Introduction and Launch of Collaborate to Innovate, Dr Francesca Gliubich, Director of the London Advanced Therapies programme

6.15-6.45pm- Support & Resources for Clinical Trials in Advanced Therapies, Anna Outhwaite, Head of the ATTC network coordination & Martin O’Kane, Head of the Clinical Trials Unit

 

6.45-7.15pm- Case studies (set up, challenges and lessons learnt), John Martin, Professor of Cardiovascular Medicine, UCL & Karen Hodgkin, Chief Operating Officer at Cell Medica)

 

7.15-7.45pm- Debate on clinical trials in Advanced Therapies in a rapidly changing economic and political environment, moderated by Neelam Patel, COO of MedCity
