PULSE is a free three-day leadership and entrepreneurship training programme for up and coming life sciences entrepreneurs. Developed by the BioIndustry Association (BIA) and the Francis Crick Institute, the programme is aimed at aspiring entrepreneurs and first-time CEOs looking for advanced practical advice, support and feedback from established CEOs, leading entrepreneurs and renowned professionals.

The programme comprises a mix of sessions, talks, and interactive exercises, interspersed with networking opportunities to equip you with the necessary information and inspiration to become leading CEOs and entrepreneurs. It will give you a chance to practise relevant skills and share ideas in a safe space, with expert feedback and advice. "As an entrepreneur with a technical background, there’s a long list of unknown unknowns to deal with when starting a business. The BIA PULSE is designed to lift the cloud of business and leadership and accelerate the start-up journey. I was able to directly apply some of the lessons from PULSE to ongoing discussions with partners supporting Extracellular, and thanks to this BIA initiative I once again have an inspiring network of peers and experts willing to share their knowledge and time." - Will Milligan, CEO, Extracellular
